PHILIPPINES PARTICIPATES AT THE ASEAN FOOD AND MUSIC FESTIVAL

12 September 2021 - The Philippine Embassy in New Delhi participated in the ASEAN Food and Music Festival organized by the Embassy of Myanmar held at embassy’s social hall on 12 September 2021.

All ASEAN country performed traditional songs that are widely popular in their country. For the Philippines, the guests enjoyed the performance of the song Anak, popularized by Freddie Aguilar and the crowd danced as the Bulaklak by the Viva Hotbabes was being sang.

The guests were treated to a sumptuous feast which was prepared by each ASEAN country and was displayed on booths assigned to each mission. The mouth-watering adobo and enticing sinigang na salmon was most admired by the participants.
