New Delhi PE informs the public that an additional group of 87 seafarers have boarded a privately chartered Air Asia Flight from Kolkata which arrived in Manila on 13 September 2021. The Embassy has so far helped repatriate a total of 732 Filipinos stranded in India for the year 2021.

New Delhi PE also acknowledges with great appreciation the Honorary Consulates in India and Nepal in their unwavering support to the Embassy in repatriating stranded Filipinos. Counting the list of overseas Filipinos stranded in India repatriated in 2020, Post has since the start of the pandemic successfully repatriated a total of 1682 total OFs stranded in India.
