23 January 2020 – Philippine Ambassador H.E. Ramon S. Bagatsing, Jr. and Deputy Chief of Mission Mr. Arvin R. de Leon along with the other ASEAN Heads of Mission and Nodal Officers/Representatives attended the 114th ASEAN New Delhi Committee (ANDC) Meeting which was held at the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia, New Delhi on 22 January 2020.
During the said meeting, outgoing ANDC Chair Indonesian Ambassador H.E. Mr. Sidharto Reza Suryodipuro reported on the activities undertaken during his chairmanship. Likewise, the ASEAN Heads of Mission reported on the key bilateral visits and activities with India and reviewed the ANDC’s activities since the 113th ANDC Meeting from July 2019 to January 2020. The ASEAN Heads of Missions also exchanged views on recent developments in ASEAN-India relations.
Outgoing ANDC Chair Indonesian Ambassador H.E. Mr. Sidharto Reza Suryodipuro turned over the chairmanship to Laos Ambassador H.E. Bounneme Chouanghom for the succeeding six (6) months. END
