12 September 2019 - His Excellency Ramon S. Bagatsing, Jr., Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary (AEP) of the Republic of the Philippines (with residence in New Delhi) to Nepal, presented his Letters of Credence to the Right Honourable Mrs. Bidya Devi Bhandari, President of Nepal in a ceremony held at Rastrapati Bhawan, Kathmandu on 11 September 2019.
Ambassador Bagatsing presented his Letters of Credence along with the AEPs of Belarus, Portugal, and Venezuela. Ambassador Bagatsing’s entourage was composed of Mr. John Boitte C. Santos, Third Secretary, Mr. Suraj Vaidya, Philippine Honorary Consul General in Kathmandu, and Ambassador Bagatsing’s daughter, Ms. Maria Angela Bagatsing.
The Philippines and Nepal will be celebrating their 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations in 2020. END
