07 September 2019- The Philippine Embassy in New Delhi conducted a Gender and Development (GAD) activity in Bangalore for the Filipino Community on 07 September 2019. The event was attended by approximately 100 participants.

Ambassador Ramon S. Bagatsing, Jr. delivered the opening remarks and expressed his appreciation for the warm welcome of the Filipino Community in Bangalore, He also reiterated that NDPE shall continue to provide them an excellent service. During said event, Ms. Marichu O. Mabao, GAD Officer, discussed the topic on Personality Development which aims to give self confidence to Filipinas followed by a video presentation and featuring etiquette rules.

Vice Consul John Boitte C. Santos also responded to numerous consular queries including visa applications for Indian spouses and children.

In response to the Ambassador’s address, the Filipino Community expressed their profound appreciation to the efforts of the Embassy in delivering government services at their doorsteps. END.
