August 2019-As part of the activities to commemorate the 70th Anniversary of Philippine – India diplomatic relations, Honorary Consul B. Narendran met with 15-20 eye surgeons from the Philippines in August 2019. Said surgeons were in India to visit Arvind Eye Hospital in Madurai to observe best practices and exchange ideas in the field of cataract surgeries and other eye related diseases.
