07 August 2019– Philippine Ambassador Ramon S. Bagatsing together with the other ASEAN Heads of Mission and Representatives in New Delhi attended “The ASEAN Quiz 2019” which was held at Arya Auditorium, Des Raj Campus, East of Kailash (Near ISKCON Temple), South Delhi, New Delhi on 07 August 2019.
On the occasion of the 52nd Anniversary of founding of ASEAN, the Royal Thai Embassy spearheaded “The ASEAN Quiz 2019” in cooperation with the other ASEAN Missions to raise awareness and greater understanding among students about ASEAN member countries, their peoples and their interaction with India over the last 25 years.

The ASEAN Quiz 2019 focused on ASEAN, its history, achievements, and member states: cultures; financial, technological, industrial developments; sporting & individual achievements; art, leisure & entertainment, cuisines, and resources; individually and as a community. The quiz was divided into two rounds: a written preliminary and a final stage.

The Champion team received Rs. 52,000 and the First runners-up team received Rs.26,000.00. All stage finalists received certificates of merit, while all participants received certificates of participation.
