12 December 2018 – The Philippine Embassy in New Delhi held its Paskong Pinoy Christmas gathering with the members of the Filipino community in New Delhi on 07 December 2018 at the Embassy compound. The event featured song and dance performances, games participated in by Filcom members, traditional Pabitin for kids, raffle of Christmas gifts and salosalo. The event provided the Ambassador the opportunity to update the Filcom on events in 2018, as well as for 2019 where she shared that the two countries will celebrate next year the 70th anniversary of bilateral relations. She explained that as members of the Filipino-Indian community in India, their contributions in furthering people-to-people link is vital. Before the gathering, a mass officiated by Rev. Fr. George Mani was held for Embassy personnel.
