19 November 2018 - Ambassador Ma. Teresita C. Daza together with Deputy Chief of Mission Mr. Arvin R. de Leon and Philippine Honorary Consul General in Kathmandu Mr. Suraj Vaidya met with South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) Secretary General H.E. Amjad Hussain B. Sial at the SAARC Secretariat, Kathmandu, Nepal on 15 November 2018.

During the meeting, Secretary General Amb (Retd.) Sial updated Ambassador Daza on the developments in SAARC and mentioned that the five (5) SAARC regional centers are very much involved in many projects that have far reaching benefits to the citizens of the eight member-countries. He also expressed his admiration for ASEAN, noting the progress in the latter’s integration process.END
