19 November 2018 – Ambassador Ma. Teresita C. Daza together with Deputy Chief of Mission Mr. Arvin R. de Leon met with Nepal Medical Council (NMC) Chairman Prof. Dr. Dharma Kanta Baskota and NMC Registrar Prof. Dr. Dilip Sharma at the Nepal Medical Council Office in Bansbari, Kathmandu on 15 November 2018.

During the meeting, NMC Chairman Dr. Baskota and Registrar Dr. Sharma shared with Ambassador Daza the concerns of the Nepalese medical students and residency (post graduate) trainees in the Philippines. The NMC officials apprised the Ambassador that the NMC introduced in 2017 the new rules and standards for medical education in Nepal comprising both medicine proper and post graduate courses.END
