02 November 2018- Representatives from two universities in the Philippines participated in the 14th FICCI Higer Education Summit 2018 (FHES 2018) held at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi on 30 October-01 November 2018. Dr. Josefina Manabat, Vice President for Academics of San Beda University and Dr. Dammang Bantala, President of Cotabato City State Polytechnic College represented the Philippines in this three-day summit.

FHES 2018, with the theme “Universities of the Future” was organized by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) in collaboration with India’s Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Services Export Promotion Council (SEPC). The event was attended by about 300 delegates from at least 70 countries of Africa, Middle East, Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), and Asia. FHES 2018 provided a platform for international educational providers interested to partner and engage with Indian higher educational institutions for possible collaborations. It was inaugurated by Mr Suresh Prabhu, India’s Minister for Commerce and Industry and Civil Aviation. END
