28 September 2018- Ambassador Ma. Teresita C. Daza and Economic Assistants, Mr. Edwin Batallones and Ms. Meri Jayne C. Cinco, participated in the World Energy Policy Summit (WEPS), held in New Delhi on 26-27 September 2018.

WEPS is an annual conference platform for sharing knowledge, insights and perspectives on national and international energy issues and developments. The conference theme is "New World, New Opportunities".

The 2018 event was inaugurated by India’s Minister of Coal and Railways Mr. Piyush Goyal. Several diplomatic officials, Indian government officials, representatives from private companies and think thanks from across the globe, also participated in WEPS 2018.
