18 July 2018- The Philippine Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) conducted an outbound business matching mission in New Delhi on 16-21 July 2018. The mission aimed to explore business opportunities, link Philippine exporters to potential business partners and strengthen trade relations between the Philippines and India.

The mission had meetings and business matching sessions with India’s major chambers of commerce including the Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry (ASSOCHAM), the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), and the Punjab Haryana Delhi Chamber of Commerce (PHD Chamber of Commerce). Deputy Chief of Mission Arvin de Leon delivered brief remarks focusing on the growing opportunities in the Philippine economy and the need for more investors in identified sectors in said events.

The mission was led by Assistant Director Agnes R. Legaspi of the Export Marketing Bureau and Commercial Attaché Jeremiah C. Reyes of the Philippine Trade and Investment Center (PTIC) in New Delhi, India.
