11 March 2018 - Defense Secretary Delfin Lorenzana visited India on 08- 11 March 2018. Secretary Lorenzana was joined by a six-man delegation including Defense Undersecretary for Finance and Materiel Raymundo DV Elefante.

A bilateral meeting was held between Secretary Lorenzana and Indian Defense Minister Nirmala Sitharaman at the Ministry of Defense South Block. The Secretary also visited the Indian Western Naval Command in Mumbai and companies which manufacture defense-related supplies and equipments.

On 09 March 2018, Ambassador Daza hosted a dinner at the Residence in the Embassy compound.
