12 January 2018 – The 4^th ASEAN-India Ministerial Meeting in Agriculture and Forestry was held in New Delhi on 11-12 January 2018 and was attended by Ministers and representatives of all ten ASEAN Member States and India’s Minister and Farmer’s Welfare. The meeting reviewed the progress made in the implementation of the ASEAN-India Plan of Action 2011-2015 and discussed its successor plan of action. The Meeting endorsed the Medium Term Plan of Action for the ASEAN-India Cooperation in Agriculture and Forestry for 2016-2020 as recommended by the Senior Officials of AMAF and India. The Philippines was represented by Ambassador Ma. Teresita C. Daza together with Ms. Maria Archly S. Escandor as Senior Official and Ms. Leah A. Samson and Ms. Anrea Paolo C. Flores from the Department of Agriculture.
