26 October 2017- The Philippine Embassy in New Delhi attended the International   Conference on Consumer Protection- “Empowering Consumers in New Markets” held in New Delhi on 26-27 October 2017.

The two-day conference which was organized by India’s Department of Consumer Affairs in association with the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), was inaugurated by India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and UNCTAD Secretary General Dr. Mukhisa Kituyi.

The Conference aims to examine international, regional, and national best practices towards charting a way forward to achieving greater consumer protection in the changing markets scenario across the world. END
