18 March 2017 The Philippine Embassy in New Delhi conducted its first mobile consular outreach for 2017 at the Philippine Consulate General in Chennai on 18 March 2017.

The outreach was facilitated by Consular Assistants Mr. Julito C. Babatla, and Ms. Marichu O. Mabao and Collecting Officer Mr. Danilo C Buñas, with the support of PHCG Chennai. They conducted ePassport application processing and entertained queries from the Filipino Community on consular matters and voter registration.

The Filipino community in Chennai, Tamil Nadu appreciated the efforts of the Embassy in delivering services at their doorsteps. There were forty six (46) Filipino nationals who applied for their passport renewal and forty (40) voter registrations.
