8 February 2017- Following the successful Global Conference of Heads of Posts, the Office of the Undersecretary for International Economic Relations (OUIER) organized an economic diplomacy familiarization tour for all Heads of Philippine Foreign Service Posts in Cebu from 3-6 February 2017.

The program of the economic diplomacy familiarization tour comprised a call on the Governor of Cebu, visit to showrooms of world class furniture designers Vito Selma and Kenneth Cobonpue, exposure to the eco-friendly tourism of Aloguinsan and briefing from thriving BPO sector of Cebu.

The program also included get-together activities hosted by Ambassador Francisco L. Benedicto, Ambassador Philippe Jones Lhuillier, and Ambassador Isidro D. Carino.
