7 February 2017- The Philippine Embassy in New Delhi, as represented by the Ambassador participated in the Global Conference of Heads of Posts, held in Makati City from 29 January to 3 February 2017.

The GCHOP provided more than 80 Heads of Philippine Foreign Service Posts briefings on the current administration’s policy, directions and agenda; discussed current and emerging trends and issues in various regions; and presented the Department’s Strategic Plan 2017-2022.

DFA Secretary Perfecto R. Yasay, Jr. delivered the keynote address and also participated in selected sessions. All key officials of the DFA and officials of concerned agencies also attended the Conference.
