23 January 2017 – The Indian Institute of Management Training (IIMT) Group of Colleges invited Philippine Ambassador  Ma. Teresita C. Daza to visit and make a presentation  at the IIMT, Meerut Campus, Uttar Pradesh on 23 January 2017.

The event was attended by IIMT Group of Colleges Chancellor Shri Yogesh Mohanji Gupta, Education Director Dr. Suraksha Pal, Management Director Dr. Vinay Kaushik, Pharmacy Director, Dr. T. S. Eswari, Nursing Director Mrs. Asha Yadav, Engineering Director Dr. Harish, Faculty Coordinator Dr. Sugandha Shrotriya and students from different IIMT courses.

Ambassador Ma. Teresita C. Daza delivered a presentation on Philippine-India relations where she highlighted the cultural connections and status of political and economic cooperation between the Philippines and India. She also shared the economic developments in the Philippines and India under the leadership of Philippine President Rodrigo R. Duterte and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, respectively. The presentation was concluded with the video showing of the launch of the Philippine Chairmanship of ASEAN in 2017.
