20 December 2016 –The PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry in New Delhi organized a Seminar on FDI: Opportunities and Challenges on 20 December 2016 at PHD House in New Delhi, attended by the members of the PHD Chamber, representatives from the government, diplomatic community, businessmen and media.

Ambassador Ma. Teresita C. Daza, current Chair of the ASEAN New Delhi Committee (ANDC) addressed the participants at the panel discussion and spoke on FDI bright spots and challenges in ASEAN and India.

Other presenters for this segment included Mr. Takuma Hisanaga, First Secretary of Embassy of Japan, Mr. Bjorn Grozinger, First Secretary, Industrial Affairs, Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany, Mr. Rajesh Modhwadia, Chief Marketing Officer, Burda Druck India Pvt. Ltd. and Mr. Aurodeep Nandi, Senior Economic Advisor, Economic Section, British High Commission.

Their presentations were followed by technical session on sectoral perspective on infrastructure, renewable energy and power sectors. Success stories were also shared of successful FDIs in India.
