Ambassador Ma. Teresita C. Daza visited the Coconut Development Board and the Spice Board in Kerala on 29 August 2016. Her visit aimed to get a better understanding of the functions and operations of the two institutions and explore possible collaborations    .

The Philippines and India are large producers and consumers of coconut and its by products. India on the other hand produces 50+ spices and is a major exporter of spices.

The Ambassador was welcomed and briefed by Chairman Dr. A.K. Singh and Marketing Director Mr. S. Kannan of the Coconut Development Board and Spice Board respectively.
