18 April 2016- The Philippine Embassy in New Delhi conducted a consular outreach and registration of Filipinos for its database updating, in Bangalore from 10-11 April 2016.

Ambassador Ma. Teresita C. Daza and Ms. Meri Jayne Cruz Cinco conducted a brief talk on “Magna Carta of Women” and presented a short inspirational video about the success story of a Filipina with disability as part of the Embassy’s Gender and Development (GAD) activity. Mr. Julito Babatla extended consular service (passport renewal/registration) to Filipinos from Bangalore, nearby cities and even the state of Kerala.

The Filipino community was deeply appreciative of the Embassy’s efforts in reaching out to the community through consular services and GAD talk/exchange. END
