New Delhi, 24 August 2015 – The Philippine Embassy received visiting officials from the De La Salle Health Sciences Institute (DLSHSI) led by Dr. Juanito O. Cabanias, PhD, Vice Chancellor on 24 August 2015. The group’s itinerary from 23 to 30 August 2015 includes the courtesy call on the Ambassador, meeting with the Education Board of India, briefing on DLSHSI’s programs and course offerings for students interested in studying at DLSHSI and conduct of the DLSHSI college admission test.

The Philippines is a popular destination for Indians interested in studying medicine, aviation and human resource development/management.

During the meeting, Ambassador Ma. Teresita C. Daza and Consul Fernando V. Beup, Jr., briefed the group on the requirements and issuance of visas to foreign students and other related concerns.

DLSHSI officials’s visit to India will also include a tour of Agra Fort, the famous Taj Mahal as well as visits to Rajastan Kota-Mountain, the Ellin Group Educational Fair and the Rajastan Udaipur-Heritage of Old Kings.

The DLSHSI officials also attended and participated in the Embassy Flag Raising Ceremony which is held every Monday of the week.
