23 March 2019 – The Philippine Embassy with the assistance of the Philippine Honorary Consulate General in Mumbai conducted a consular outreach mission in Goa, extending both passport renewal and civil registry services.

The consular outreach activity was held at the Grande Delmon Hotel in Goa where 86 Filipinos renewed their passports and 10 availed themselves of the Embassy’s civil registry services. Some Filipinos also took the opportunity to inquire on the visa applications of their Indian spouses and children.

Although most of the applicants are residents of Goa, there were also applicants from Karnataka, Kerala and Maharashtra who travelled several hours to Goa. 

This has been the highest turnout for a consular outreach of NDPE in recent years.
